I so enjoy going to the Chicago Humanities Festival. This year I made it to two talks, this one and Small Gestures: It’s the Little Things…. While Brosterman jumped around a bit in the talk, I loved learning more about German educator Froebel and how systematically he developed his system of gifts for children.
